Our First Litter - Adrayam Empress Lian 32/1 (Mistra) x Gr Ch Fistra Marcopolo 24 (Polo)
Here is a short slideshow of Mistra and her first litter of kittens. There were five kittens in the litter - all registered with the GCCF prefix Addeiam as we didn't apply for our own prefix straight away. Hilary and Amy are the two Seal Points, Suilee and Emily are the Chocolate Tabby Points and Samuel is the Chocolate Point.
Our Second Litter - Adrayam Empress Lian 32/1 (Mistra) x Alcazar Flamboyant 24b (Beau)
Midge, a Seal Point, and Edmund (known as'Eddie' at home), a Chocolate Point, live with my parents and I still see them nearly every day. They are now 13 years old and in reasonably good health considering their age.
Charlotte, a Chocolate Point, went to live in Stirling.
Marko, the huge Seal Tabby Point of the litter, went to live with a friend, then moved to a relative of hers when they fell in love with him and 'convinced' her that he should live with them for the rest of his life. He lives a very priveleged life!
Enjoy the slideshow! The pictures show Midge, Midge and Eddie, Charlotte, and Marko in that order.
Our Third Litter - Addeiam Suilee 32/3 x Gr Ch Shybu Dharvel Dandy 24c (Dusty)

Chirachai Thomas & Chirachai Katy - whose pet names are Snow & Crystal - taken by their new owner in their new home.
This was Suilee's first litter and she was very proud of them. The kittens in this litter were Chirachai Bambi 24b, Jeremy 24b, Katy 24b, Oscar 24b, and Thomas 32/3.

As you can see, our fourth litter were a repeat of the first ever mating we did with Mistra - which was a great success. However, as can happen, we had a disaster, only two kittens were conceived and our vet of the time thought this had caused difficulties during the birth. The first kitten due to be born became detached from its placenta and died during the early stages of the birth. Mistra had to have a caesarian section and one, large, but poorly kitten survived. It was touch and go all night with Koko but once we revived her sufficiently that she started 'squeaking', Mistra became interested and took over looking after her.
We named the survivor Koko because it means 'stork', which is a symbol of longevity in Japanese according to our names book. She had long legs and we believed she needed a name linked to a lengthy life, given her start in life. Anyway, Koko went on to become our first Champion. We kept Koko as a breeding queen and neutered Mistra. However, Koko didn't breed successfully and was subsequently also neutered and remained with us as our pet.
Our Fifth Litter - Addeiam Suilee 32/3 (Suilee) x Koschei Paper Tiger 24c (Conan)

Akira 32/3 (Leo), Barnaby 32/3, Casper 32/3, Dylan 24b, and Victoria 24b (Muscat) were the five kittens born from this mating. They all had absolutely superb natures and were lovely, healthy kittens.
Our Sixth Litter - Addeiam Suilee 32/3 (Suilee) x Gr Ch Fisepo Picallo Boy 24 (Pico)

This was our last litter before an 8 year break (partly to have children!). There were 6 kittens! They were called Chirachai Fitz 32/3 (Monty), Flynn 32/1 (Genie), Fraser 24b, Audrey 24b (Tineal), Eleanor 24b and Jemima 24b (Zoe).
Sadly, things were not always harmonious between the females in our feline household and after 3 years of a split household (with Mistra & Koko in one half of the house and Suilee & Fraser in the other - with Fraser dotting between whoever would give him the most attention at the time!), we had to move house to a much smaller place. We tried very hard to re-unite our feline household but it never really worked. Finally, it became very clear that it was in Suilee's best interests to move to a new home since she was the one the other two girls were picking on. She is missed still but it's a better life she has now than she had with us in the latter years.
Here, however, is a picture of how harmonious things were before Suilee started having kittens herself - this is a picture of her with Mistra and our second litter.
